Sinning the agreement of offering Governmental Electronic payment services between Knet and Ministry of finance
The Ministry of Finance signed, on Thursday 8th of May 2008, an agreement with K-Net whereby the latter will offer electronic payment services for collecting state fees, in a step toward transforming to the e-government system.

I think this is big step toward e-payment and I hope hackers don’t show up when the smell chance of stealing money online.

Thanks for the news. We definitely read more and more about E-Government. Yet to see one solid implementation of it. Theoretically, you could pay your tickets and electricity bill online. Good luck getting it to work.
Another problem is decentralized efforts. Every ministry works on its own vision. I heard about efforts from CAIT to have central authentication mechanisms between all ministries, which is good initiative.
Let’s see.
